P wave

Does an isolated dilation of the left atrium lead to changes in the first (early) or second (late) half of the P wave?

If there is an isolated dilation of the left atrium, the second (late) part of the P wave shows changes whereas the first (early) half, i.e. the right atrial part of the P wave, is normal.
