Epsilon wave

What is an epsilon wave?

The epsilon wave is an ECG sign for arrhythmogenic right ventricular (RV) dysplasia/cardiomyopathy. In this disease there are fatty/fibrotic alterations in the right ventricular myocardium. As a sign of delayed RV depolarisation there are epsilon waves after the S-wave in v1-v3, and in addition there are T wave inversions in v1-v3.
